I'm a simple person. I'm happy with my job, my friends, and my family. It would just be nice to have someone to step out of the daily routine with and maybe swap some interesting stories in the process.

Changed professions at 34. Going back to school at night while working days was a nightmare. Teaching is definitely working out, but I'm still new to it. It certainly beats being trapped in a cubicle farm.

I've had the same set of friends since before college which is both good and bad. I would hope that you have at least a few long-time ties outside your family. They make life interesting and give you some roots.

Work is important to me. I enjoy it, but I have a tendency to work long hours unless I have a good excuse not to. I'm hoping that you're the excuse....
