about me...here goes...

I love music...I think I have a very eclectic musical taste...too much to list...currently on the playlist: Bright Eyes, Curtis Mayfield, and NIN. Prior to teaching, I had an independent CD store...so I really do enjoy MANY types of music. I also love going to huge concerts, outdoor summer festivals, or intimate live shows...I just started playing guitar...Im a very good beginner with lots of potential!

I am a teacher...and I think I have the best job in the world!

I love to read...but I dont want to limit myself by naming authors I like, as I am already regretting the short list of aforementioned musical artists...

I love movies...and the drive in...I am not a film critic by any means, but sometimes I would rather see an independent film before any "smash 'em up" Hollywood blockbuster...However, I love Will Farrell, Mike Meyers, and other silly satiric comedies too.

I like to play any type of board/card game...poker, euchre...I usually win Scrabble ;)

Random list of "likes": patios, taking walks/exploring, traveling, playing with my nephews, the coolest kids in town!...being "green"...crosswords.. .camping...fine dining...yoga...learning new things...drinking red wine and debating or not talking at all

Dislikes: nothing out of the ordinary...oh, well I guess meat is one of my dislikes...Im a vegetarian...but meat-eaters are people too ;-) I LOVE cooking new and interesting veggie dishes...Thai, Indian, Italian, etc...I can make tofu taste REALLY good, but I will cook for omnivores too!
