I'm a student at the University of Illinois studying art history, with a concentration in African art. I also work at a museum on campus, and I have a two yr old mixed boy with a red afro..no joke. I am passionate about human rights issues, particularly genocide prevention, but that's another conversation. I'm really strong and independent, but I don't want to be independent because it is a tool for survival. It is part of who I am, but I'm also loving and I embrace the fact that I deeply want a good man to be there for me at the end of the day. I'm ready for a relationship that has potential to go somewhere, so I'm interested in a man who is open to getting serious with the right girl (i.e. me)...I'm done with the 30 yr olds who "aren't looking for a relationship".

it should give us an oppertunity to talk... but still be fun enough for us to let our guard down a little. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and I don't like men who play games to seem like they aren't affectionate. I want a man who is as head over heels for me as I am with him. I understand baggage, but don't let it get in the way... I've had a few too many broken hearts and broken backs from the weight of my man's additional carry-ons. Be open to traveling lightly, and I'll show you what its like to be with a goddess.
