I am tall, dark and handsome (scientifically speaking - taking that from many people who have described me as such, not my own egotistical label), work a great job, making great money, that I got from hard work and my college degree. I am well read, consider myself intelligent, witty and very friendly to all. I can fit in with the black tie crowd and socialites, or I can drink a beer in a field with jeans and a T-shirt, with the 4-wheeler crowd. I am a dichotomy of big city and small town and like all varieties of activities, but usually have season tickets to the Muny, Fox and Six Flags, for fun and entertainment. I used to play all sports, still enjoy playing golf, volleyball, etc... and watching live sporting events, as well as good music and concerts. I am a music nut, having over 2500 CDs and probably more mix CDs and on my MP3 player that I am glued to when working out or in places where my 4 other music players and stereos don't come into play. I have a large library of books, classics and modern, and I write in my spare time - short stories, novels, songs, poetry (hence the title of my profile) and even a musical. I am learning the acoustic guitar to write music to my lyrics. Life is good.

First dates are usually times to get to know one another - so loud rock concerts are probably out. But first date would probably depend on what the other person likes and where our similarities lie. If they liked fun, Six Flags or maybe an outdoor festival. If they were more reserved, maybe coffee or tea or a nice restaurant for lunch (don't want to spend hours if they are not interested!). Or if they were a sports nut, maybe a Cardinals game or Blues Hockey game (but then again, that's three hours, so maybe that waits until we are sure we like each other's company).
