I am fun, sarcastic, witty, funny and punny, I am sometimes the only one to laugh at my own jokes. I am fiercely loyal, very trusting and a great friend. I'm a good listener and will give advice only when asked. I am just as willing to do something spontaneously as I am to plan an activity far in advance. I'll try (almost) anything once. I enjoy cooking, especially baking, movies (especially Christopher Guest, early Woody Allen, Atom Egoyan, Hitchcock and indie films, but I also enjoy a good blockbuster), reading (my favorite author is John Irving), museums, theater, traveling, games (crossword puzzles, Scrabble, trivia games) and sports, on occasion. I like all kinds of music, I enjoy listening to live music in an intimate setting, such as a bar or small theater. Good food is important to me, it can either be at an expensive, 4 star restaurant, a local dive or better yet, a home cooked meal. I like having semi-philosophical/intense conversations, just as much as I like being silly.

My idea of a great first date is just to hang out and have fun. It doesn't have to be a specific activity. I just want to be able to have a good conversation with the other person and feel like we could talk and laugh for hours.
