I love to laught and joke with poeple. It's good for the soul and for breaking the ice. Secretly I always wanted to be a comic, but don't expect me to tell a joke.... well not to completion. I never can seem to remember the punch line. lol
I'm originally from Jacksonville and have spent most of my life here. After finishing college I taught 4 years at a junior high school; however, there was not enough money in teaching, so I went into a field that was much more lucrative and have been most fortunate.
I enjoy good food and fine wine, but good conversation is what really makes dining enjoyable and special. Going to concerts, art galleries and antique shops are some of what I enjoy along with listening to jazz, watching old movies and reading. I don't want you to think I don't enjoy more active activities because I do! I enjoy just about anything that keeps me outside: Golfing, Camping, Canoeing, Kyacking, Boating, Hiking, Baseball and Football (attending games more than playing in them)lol. I know nothing about NASCAR, but like car shows and the Amelia Island Concourse de Elegance is an annual event attended for years.
Travel is a big part of my job, but it is also one of my most enjoyable past-times. As an avid collector of are and antiques, many a trip has included a side visit to an art or antique auction or gallery. Caribbean Cruises with a griend or group of friends is a great way to spend a weekend or even a week to unwind from the grind.
I have one happy, smart athletic 15 year old son who already knows everything and has no problem expressing his knowledge and/or opinion to everyone....especially to me! I wonder sometimes which one of us is not going to make it to their next birthday....that's a joke folks! I'm very proud of my son and he keeps me on my toes and on the move.
