Is that really what I look like?,....come on! Is there anyone out there who isn't afraid to meet someone that they wished they had taken a chance on long before now? I never thought it would be this hard to meet someone. Am I the only one on a dating service that is finding it hard to meet someone I can't wait to see again? I don't think reading a profile written by me is any way for you to know who I am, but I will tell you how I see myself, you be the judge from there. Let's be real, I don't have the body I would like to have, but then again, I bet you don't either, I am where I am, so are you, we'll work on that together. I pride myself at being a "gentleman" and I would like to find someone to take dance lessons with. Not that I want to dance,...just that I want to dance through life with someone wonderful,...even when there is no music. I feel I must be honest about everything I write. I am a easy going, talented, financially secure, successful employed professional & I own a home. I don't like eating alone, going places alone or do things alone. I like flea markets, antique malls & weekend drives to see where the road leads,stopping for breakfast an hour later. I am a hopeless romantic, a little shy at first, but I find I am either in the center of activity or a wall flower, seldom am I anywhere in between. I enjoy B&Bs, candle light, the glow of a fire, stars in the sky, walks in the woods, going camping, movies or watching one at home curled up on the couch or in bed, going out for a good meal or making one at home. Easy listening music, dancing cheek to cheek, being held tight, looking in the eyes of someone special. I open doors, give flowers, cards, notes & gifts of love, back & neck rubs, & holding hands. I bring warm towels from the dryer. If you are looking for a tractor hat wearing, T.V. sports watching, got'a go out with the boys buck tuckin', "Get me another beer Girl", NASCAR watching, golf playing kinda guy, then look elsewhere, please, spare us both! I DO NOT SMOKE OR USE DRUGS, RARELY DRINK, I'm not loud, or brassy or tatooed & I don't like women with these traits. I don't like cats on the counter top or on the table where we are to eat. I like children, and pets, but I do not have my own. I say grace before meals & see that the one who prepares the meal is served first. The best things in life are free & the second best are very expensive, I hope to have & share both. I do not give all that I write about to just anyone, but when I do, she will know, so will everyone else, as eveyone will know I think she is someone special! Could it be you? My match will be honest, loyal & truly a lady, of good value, who will love her life with me as much as I love my life with her. Someone who has yet to experience all that the world has to offer. My life-long best friend, partner, team-mate, one with which we two become one, no matter if we are going out on the town or at home mowing grass, planting flowers or doing dishes. The first thing I want to see each morning & the last I want to see each night. Someone I have great antisipation to come home to, because I want to, not because I have to. The love of my life. I will give a little more today then I gave yesterday and will try to give more tomorrow then I give today. Is it not all worthwhile when partners give the same effort? Is that wanting to much? I have been told that what I write is too "intense",... please, let me know what you think. The journey of the rest of our life, starts with but one step. Let's work on being friends first and then see where the road of life takes us. I am an easy going guy, looking for someone special, to share the remained of my life. I am a hopeless romantic, and I look to find someone who isn't so much interested in what we do, but rather how we do it. I don't like profiles as they are to much like reading applications, or a resume for a void each of us hopes to have filled. I would rather get to know someone by hear their voice, asking and answering questions. Again, I remind you that we really can't hope to know enough about each other by reading a profile or seeing a picture,....can we?

For a first meeting, I find it best not to put pressure on either of us,....why not meet somewhere public for coffee such as a coffe shop, or a bookstore,....we'll know where we want our first meeting to go from there. After that, we can plan a "first date."
For a "first date" we might enjoy the day with a ride to Nashville, Indiana where we can look at things, get something to eat, talk and learn of each others interest.
