I have lived in the lower mainland most of my life and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. We have it all in this beautiful city.
I went to school in Coquitlam. Como Lake (67-69) and Centennial (69-71).
Ancestry is in northern UK.

I am in search of a man that is patient, at peace with himself, intelligent, uncontrolling, emotionally available, good personal hygiene, good listener, tolerant, kind hearted, respectful, happy, killer sense of humour, polite and a few more qualities. haha I am not looking for a fantasy.....just the right guy. We all know that there is a big difference between need and want. For instance...I want a good man in my life.


There are a few things about me that you should know:


- I have never been lost.....there have been a couple of times when I didn't know exactly where I was ..... but I have never been lost

- if I ever do get lost I will stop and ask for directions

- I am intelligent, funny, attractive (so my kids tell me), affectionate and independant.

- I am not in the best shape I could be in...maybe you could help me with that (wink wink nudge nudge)

- lasting relationships to me are not about physical looks. It is about comfort, respect and a natural flow. Having said that....I want a man that takes care of himself both physically and emotionally.

- I know that at this point in my life I am not looking for a man to start a life with as much as I am looking for a man to fit into the life I already have

- I loved ziptrekking but you will never catch me bungie jumping or jumping out of an aircraft.

- I don't mind being alone...it's lonely I can't stand

- my hair is naturally brown but I do have blonde moments

- I have a small dog that likes to take me for a walk (she thinks she's bigger than she is)...so your dog shouldn't be big enough to beat up on mine

- I am a stickler for spelling

- I don't care for cats

- I am romantic and playful and like to be romanced

- love the Vancouver Canucks, no matter how many seasons they lose

- looking for a man who is sensitive and compassionate

- Home Depot is my favourite store

- thanks to my Dad I like to watch most sports

- love a man with dishpan hands

- do not like commuting. I swear if I had to commute any further than I do, I would be the Top Story on the 6 o'clock news...haha

- believe whole-heartedly that the last one out of bed should have to make it

- will try to fix things until they are absolutely broken, sometimes I actually fix things

- no one should have to cook and do the dishes too

- will not change the oil in my car often enough..no matter how many times you tell me

- think that we all need a serious belly laugh at least once a day
