Just like you, I'm somewhat skeptical of online dating sites, but, hey, this is the Age of the Internet. And who knows, my elusive obvious might be "you" reading this right now.

So, here are a few tidbits about me to get you started. Obviously we will learn more about each other as we share a lot of great moments, and although the final destination is important, the journey that we experience together will be the most exciting and memorable part.

I have a youthful, playful, yet still mature, outlook on life. I consider myself an extrovert disguised as an introvert. Hmmm... maybe it's the other way around. (haha..you just landed yourself a true Gemini !!)
Playfulness aside, I am also a natural protector, and I am very serious about watching out for the people I care for in my life. I always continue to believe in the deep connection of a lasting true love, regardless of whatever life throws in our paths to distract us from that ideal.

I am professionally employed in a career that I enjoy and am well established in. I can blend in anywhere, be it dressed up or in t-shirt and sandals. (Don't worry, no white socks with the sandals...yikes!!)

I'm looking for a cool "friendship". I believe that every fulfilling 'long term' relationship starts here. Someone you can hang out with and just be yourself. No masks. No pressure. No expectations. Just 'you for you' and 'me for me' and let's enjoy where things can go. I love spending the evening in the company of an exceptional woman, sharing dreams, stories, ideas and lingering over a cup of something delicious.

I thrive on playful witty bantor. I love a good twisted sense of humour, or maybe just an awareness that some things are really important, others not; and that the two are jumbled in everyday life in the oddest way.

I have learned that having someone special in my life is vital and that's why I'm here. Booty calls are at the local pub, and those women, while very attractive, tend to be shallow and flaky. Not my style. I am looking for a *RARE* combo of a woman - stunning on the outside and beautiful on the inside. Unless, of course, you are a bad kisser or don't like to hold hands, cause those are deal-breakers for me. (haha)

When it comes to loving a woman, I believe that the brain is the main sex organ. So I don't believe that making love happens only in the bedroom. I believe that when you are connected with the right person, it is happenning all day long... holding hands while taking a stroll...cooking in the kitchen together... etc etc. If you understand what I mean, then we're already off to a great start.

I am in the process of quitting smoking. If you do not smoke, that would be a huge bonus for me. If you do smoke, I won't hold it against you. :) I also workout every day and eat healthy. I'm not a fanatic. I am just trying lead a healthier lifestyle and keep looking young.

So if you find me before I find you, send me a message. I know you might feel too shy to do this, but it is better to take a small risk, than to chance fate passing us by.
Then, I will do the 'charming guy' thing and introduce myself to you. I will respect your efforts and will reply to messages. I am enjoying my life and it would be great to have a special someone there to enjoy it with me.

I appreciate a woman who can cook, but that isn't required because I like to cook also...

I figure that on our first date, we can get bombed on good scotch and then I'll break out the whips and collars, and we'll both bark at the moon like dogs in heat.

I think for the first meet, it should be something we both agree on to keep the pressure low, and save the surprise dates for later. Don't worry, I'll be full of nervous energy too, but we'll help each other enjoy the moment. A little flirting with no 'assumed' expectations. If there is chemistry, we'll take it from there, perhaps go for a walk, get some ice cream, chat and get to know each other better. If all goes well, we will lose track of time in our own little world.
