I’m a down to earth optimistic easy going NYC transplant. And If I had to describe myself, I would say that I'm passionate, honest, intelligent, funny, compassionate, dedicated, well rounded, realistic, energetic, sedate and in touch with my feminine side. I'm just as comfortable cooking, sewing and my emotions as well as home improvement, appliance repair, and mechanics. And being rom NY, i speak with my hands alot.
I’m at ease with a strong, intelligent lady, comfortable with speaking her mind and being treated as an equal. Enjoying long walks, dancing, bike riding, romantic dinners and good conversation would be a pleasurable. I enjoy fixing anything and everything, yard sales and home repair keeps the hands busy.If i'm watching TV its the news or the discovery and history channels. I find it difficult to vegetate and have an active appetite for knowledge.
As for my taste in music, classical, R & B, Jazz, Hip- Hop, Easy Listening, Rock a& Roll, Rock, Oldies depending on the mood of course. I’m a dog lover and have a passion for taking long walks with my Rottie (wish I had 2 though).
On the other side of the coin, confrontation, anger, bitterness, past relationship woes, I think are best left on the bus.I'm not into Springer scenarios or raising my voice. I believe Going into a relationship rather platonic or romantic should be free of excess baggage.

I prefer for a lady to feel comfortable when we're in public.First dates are awkward to say the least. Coffee,store browsing and good conversation are appealing. Having a picnic in the park playing Scrabble is another enlightening way to channel thoughts.
