I am kind, caring, loving person who lives by the golden rule everyday of my life. My life is NOT all about me--quite the opposite, it's usually about everyone else---my mate, my 27year old adopted Daughter, my grandkids, 2 good friends, the dog the house, the neighbors, my sister and her family, my birth-brother. While I'm very good at living a responsible life, I'm kinda lacking in fun factor sometimes--my greatest drawback. I need to stop and smell the roses way more often than I do now. My perfect mate should either be a smoker or someone who doesn't mind being around it. She should be at least somewhat energetic and NOT lazy with just a smidgeon of couch-potatoe mixed in for relaxation in the evenings. Above all else, she NEEDS to be Loyal and trustworthy and brutally honest--it's what I desire the most. All I really want in this world is to find Gal who can Love me back--the same way that I love her. PLEASE--no liars, cheaters, head games, You know who You are, PLEASE just pass me by---I've had plenty of that in my life so far and I'm trying to avoid all of that in my future. Both of my former mates have told me that I'm "hot", and super good-looking. I think they both needed glasses but here goes...I'm 6'2'' tall weigh in at 217lbs kinda husky, Big honest baby-face, salt&pepper hair, no junk in the trunk, well maybe a pair of pliers ! and I can fix almost anything except this computer and a woman's straying heart. I am very empathatic for a man, thanks to an excellent upbringing. I go to sleep the minute my head hits the pillow, because I have no regrets--I treat everyone in my life exactly like I want to be treated. I Live, Love and Laugh as much as possible. I hold NO malice or vengence in my heart for anyone in this world and when someone walks on me like a floormat, I walk away from them as if nothing happened. I was taught to turn the other cheek, forgive and forget and old-school Morales, Values&Scruples which rarely work correctly in today's dog eat dog world. I guess I'm a bit more old-fashioned than most people my age---this serves me well in my work life, but in my Love life this has made me into a doormat more often than not. My Ideal mate will be somewhat like me yet have a nice blend of opposites. Her appearance is important [I'm not talkin' make-up here] because I do need that animal attraction, but overall goodness within her soul is of paramount importance. I really want to get on with my life with a really good woman by my side that can Love me for who I am today, not what she thinks she can change me into.
