My son said it was "Time for you Dad!' so I'm taking him up on it...lol. I'm a single Dad of the most amazing teenager in the world!He is the greatest thing I have ever done in my life!I'm not looking for a Mom for my son...he has a good Mom back East and splits his time between the two of us. He actually was the one who originally put me on this site without me knowing!? I started getting these "Message Notification's" in my email and finally caught on. When I found out...I grounded him for life!!!...lol He is certainly is NOT "baggage" and I wish that people would not refer or think of children(of any age) as such.The same goes for thinking that one carries "baggage" with them from a past relationship...my god...we lived, we loved, we laughed, and yes maybe it didn't work out...so what , we move on and remember the good times we had and forget the bad times.I am also fairly new at this net dating thing (tried it once and it didn't go as well as I had hoped) as well as getting around Vancouver...re:"lost"...lol...so hang in there. I am looking for a friend first and I hope more as time goes by. I am looking for someone to share my life with. I like to travel quite a bit. I spend most weekends (when I can) at my "Rock" where I have spent most of the summer building a new cabin and would rather be no place other than there in the world. I love the outdoors, skiing, camping, most music, motorcycling. I like to write, draw and paint, as well as read a good book or two when I have a little spare time. Like to have "Date Nights" and catching a good movie out or at home. Like to go for walks,rain or shine. I am easy going and easy to get along with. I'm funny(I think...lol) and love a good joke and a laugh...I look at the glass always "half-full" and hope the lady in my life see's life in the same way. I am told that I'm romantic, and certainly hope that I am...I’m the guy, who calls you beautiful instead of hot. Who calls you back when you hang up on him. Who will stay awake just to watch you sleep. Who kisses your forehead for no reason at all. Who wants to show you off to the world when you are in your sweats. Who holds your hand in front of his friends. Will wait for you no matter how long it takes you to get ready and not say a word. The one who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares about you and how lucky he is to have you. The one who turns to his friends and says,…”That’s her.” I also understand that for some...not me :)...that chocolate IS a dietary requirement...

Most of us on this site seem to have been in past relationships of one kind or another, that didn't work out the way we had hoped, but we can't let what happened to us in the past hold us back or we will miss all the good things that life has to offer us. as they say nothing in this world is a sure bet...but what a loss it would be if we didn't at the very least try to grasp that golden ring of happiness and give ourselves a chance. What's the worst that could happen?...we fall down and just simply pick ourselves up after and move on. At best...we get to share all the good things in life together and get to sit on that porch on our Rock n' Chairs and watch our kids, and their kids grow-up in front of our very eyes and grow old together...lol. But no matter what happens between us we will become great friends, and we all know great friends are hard to find, harder to leave, and impossible to forget...

What else... I'm NOT a great cook but can sure do a mean pot of chili. Would like to learn to play golf.I look at each day as a new adventure where I can learn and see something new, and now, maybe, just maybe, meet someone new to be my life. I am told that I have a BIG heart so there is plenty of room in it for that special lady I hope that I will find.Looking for someone who will turn my heart into strawberry pudding...lol.Love all kids, animals and old people as well.Well that's it for now...ask me anything and I will be happy to tell you all you would like to know.
