I think I need a break. I have decided to concentrate on my kids, my family, and some personal matters that have come up. I MAY check in every once in a while, but for now I am not actively looking. Thanx .. .. db

This is the hard part. I've never been good at selling myself. I almost feel like I'm at a bar, but I've never liked that scene and was never very good at it. I'm affectionate and down to earth. I love doing romantic things for someone special.
I'm a fairly easy going person. I don’t get too upset about too much, unless you count slow drivers in the passing lane. People who can't let go. People who are inconsiderate or have no compassion. People who don't take responsibility for their own actions. The Designated Hitter. Mushrooms, peppers, or anchovies on pizza. (Actually - any veggies on pizza. I like meat on mine.) The Dallas Cowboys, the New York Yankees, the Minnesota Vikings. Bad movies from good books. People who do what's legally right, even if it's morally wrong. (I admit that I am guilty of that sometimes.) Poorly cooked veggies. I think that's about it .. .. for now.
But I like watching my kids grow .. .. too fast. A well pitched 1-0 baseball game. Being with someone special no matter what we are doing. A good healthy laugh. A good movie. (And yes, I will watch chick flicks from time to time. Ask me about my list.) Going to a concert, a Broadway play, or seeing a good local cover band. A beautifully written song. (Classic rock, classical, country, easy listening .. .. if I can hear the beauty, it’s good.) Intense passion with the one I love, whether it's in the middle of the night or middle of the afternoon - but more then once a month. (Did I type that?? Damn, I thought I turned the filter on. I gotta get that checked.) The Packers winning. A well played defense dominated football game. A Mabe's pizza. A well struck golf shot. A beautiful sunset/sunrise. A 3 pound bass on my line. A well prepared steak. Taking a walk by the river with an ice cream cone and someone special. I'm sure I missed a few, but we can always add to the list.
One last thing - please have a picture posted or be ready to send one. After all, you’ve seen me and fair is fair.
First Date
A nice quiet restaurant where we can talk and get to know each other. Maybe a comedy club or movie. But I would want to talk to and get to know the person I am with.
