I’m all about being healthy, but give me a burger and fries once in a while and I’m a happy woman! It’s all about balance in life. Exercising is great, but so is chocolate. Working it off is fun too, especially when you can do it outside all year round! I enjoy biking, kayaking, and occasionally playing golf. When I’m not exploring nature, I’m working at a job that I truly enjoy. I’m a high school special education teacher, and I love being in a position to make a difference in people's lives. And of course, there are my own 2 kids – a son age 26 and a daughter, 23. They often keep me laughing. Finding humor in most things is so important. For entertainment, I also enjoy movies, theatre, and listening to music – anything from pop to oldies, and even a little bit of country and jazz. Nothing is better than staying home, cooking with someone special, or going out and having some of my favorite foods, like Thai or Italian.

It’s not just about roses on Valentine’s Day for me. Romance is about snuggling, affection, being playful, sharing special moments, and really having fun together. If you are that guy, you are looking for something long term and real. Like me, you’ve got a positive outlook on life, and you love to laugh. You are ready for an adventure, and you love to try new things -- but nothing crazy like bungee jumping or anything like that!
