I guess you'd say I'm a creative type, I do like to do my own thing and go against the grain. I'm smart and sensitive and I have a broad sense of humor. I believe you can be masculine and still have a heart. I like animals and kids. Plants I can take or leave. Get it? Leave?

I've learned not to take life too seriously, and am determined to have a good time, wherever I am. Describing yourself sucks, doesn't it? Feels like I'm running for office. Plus,I'm humble and awesome at it.

Into music, books, film and movies, (there is a difference!), art and experiences. Like to laugh, and engage in good conversation, but also share long, comfortable silences.

I like the city, I love the outdoors, I like to drive, canoe, go spelunking, daytrip, camp, light hiking, travel, visit museums, galleries,urban exploration, historic places... love my diversions, but I always make time for the things that matter.

I do like to dress up, when the occasion calls for it, but I love jeans and t-shirts. Converse Chucks, or boots.
I shower daily, but I'll go a couple of days without a shave from time to time. I'm not an obsessive neat freak but am something of a minimalist.

Passion is important. If you don't have it for something, you probably don't have it for someone. It doesn't have to be your one pursuit, or even public knowledge, but it does have to be.

Ok, a hypothetical...
I'd like to walk in to the place where you work, scoop you up in my arms, we'll share a kiss as the music starts, then I'll carry you out the door past your co-workers while they line up, clap and cheer- just like the final scene from An Officer And A Gentleman. Okay, that's a bit familiar for the first date. Maybe I'll stand in front of your house holding my boombox over my head blasting Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes". If you know which movie that last one is from, +10.

a walk, or cup of coffee somewhere during the day. You can change the oil in my rover. Still reading? At night, I guess a drink, an appetizer, then only if we're feeling like it, have dinner or dessert. I don't think I'd meet up with anyone til we'd emailed or phoned a while anyway, so it wouldn't be a surprise to either of us.
