I'm not tolerant of fakes, bigotry, racism, or violence; so manners and the ability to make me laugh is a good balance for me. I believe until we each join collectively as a species to believe, accept and attempt to understand we truly can make real differences in lives of others and thereby our own, we are all, I'm afraid, doomed. And quite possibly rightly so. If we've no conscious toward responsible awareness of human and animal (earth kind) what right do we have, to enjoy the pleasures of this our bountiful earth which provides us with so many possibilities; technologically, scientifically, humanistically, or otherwise? We are each unique and wonderful beings and products of our environments, our heritage and cultures as well share sameness, as the unique living breathing pleasure seeking beings we each are. What color is your heart, really?

And you are...? Really, how was your day, the good and the not so good parts? I'd like hearing your views, too... I believe we can all learn something from each other! I value those that are creative, playful, and can appreciate nice things without being cheap or materialistic. If you're concerned with current events and have opinions about them, it tells me you're caring and not self centered, especially if you act on your beliefs. Please mean what you say and say what you mean; I think integrity is our foremost bond, to ourselves, each other and our shared planet. Seems like a tall order? Yes, maybe, but please expect the same in return. Don't ever just settle; that's really selling yourself short. It's a chance to simply be ourselves, so... do you dare let the cyber curtains fall away? Are you patiently holding within yourself one of the puzzle pieces that might fit with this enigma's puzzle? We'll have plenty to talk about surely, but will get along best if you share the following attributes with me: patience, wit, kindness and caring, curiosity, and the ability to laugh at yourself, amuse and be amusing; and yes, I do easily laugh and yes laugh at myself, rather a lot...

I've traveled/lived in 6 different countries & 6 different states, & not done yet... As a former USN spouse, and having done a stint as a military/civilian liasion during Desert Storm & Desert Shield, I've opinions about politics and the current war (which I don't support), as well as our troops (whom I wholeheartedly support).

I possess a fairly odd sense of quirky and sometimes acidic & caustic humor. You may as well know upfront: I have a very curious and talkative nature, and take kindly to gentle corralling me back on subject. IQ of 138, but that can't be why I'm ADD, can it? I like word, table & board games except backgammon (or monopoly which i refer to as monotony...) I'm not in the least technologically inclined, but definitely curious and analytical in nature. I am open, albeit a bit shy about my scent fetish and my foot fetish, really; please stop laughing. Or don't. I love all sorts of projects, from restoring furniture to cooking. I absolutely love to do laundry. I'm very into scent, prefer clean, tidy eclectic space over a stinky messy kitchen or bathroom any day. I prefer everything in it's place in my kitchen so I know exactly where it is when I need it. I view the bath is a mini retreat, aesetically pleasing as it is soothing; homes should be lived in, but comfortable! I enjoy ethnic and spicy foods, can appreciate a nice wine but love a good stout, too. I like galleries, music and cultural events. Straying outdoors with the sun's rays or Luna's beams kissing my face, too. Am visually and verbally oriented and love movies and talking about them afterward; creative ventures and more quiet places than loud or crowded spaces. I've morphed into an assertive, silly, intense sort of bohemian hedonist, a brat. Of Germanic/Rumanian/Hungarian descent; a decidedly passionate woman; valuing thinkers, artists, writers, communicators and creators; those brave enough to dare truthful and honest expression. I appreciate those that are evolved and integrated, or working toward those qualities. We've all made mistakes and no one's perfect, but I'd like to chat if you have some qualities mentioned above. I know I've large hopes and goals, although not impossible ones...

I work for an architectural/design/construction company and truly appreciate fast paced challenges of alternately putting out (or starting) fires. I share a respect with both my coworkers and boss in this current work environ that I've never experienced ever before, synchronicity is the best way I know to describe utilizing both my brutal honesty and aptitudes. Oh, and well... yes, I'm spoilt in a handful of ways. I'm loyal yet playful and my word is my bond, and I expect the same in return as I believe time is valuable to all of us; far too precious a commodity for any of us to waste.

NOT looking for any first dates, I met a wonderful, patient, intelligent, gorgeous and yes, very petient albeit younger man here and we've lived together for years. My search may very different than many here. I keep my account here because I have met and admire so many wonderful people here, locally and throughout this big blue planet.
