I love to laugh. I love to find delight in routine things and to face the world with a touch of whimsy. I find joy in most places I look...and I'm curious enough to look in most places. This is not to say that I have the ability to be blissfully ignorant of the serious side of life. I give it it's due, but at the same time, am optimistic enough to know that when things are bad I have within me the ability to find my way back to happiness. My ideal partner is not necessarily someone who would entertain me or me him, but someone who would be willing to search for the laughter with me.

I was born with the heart of an adventurer. I enjoy new experiences. This past year I tried Wind Surfing - was really bad at it, but had a good time anyway. I also tried paragliding and went for a ride in a hot air balloon. This was a good year for adventures, but new experiences aren't usually as exotic as these.

I may enjoy new experiences, but I enjoy the old routines just as well. I like to cook. I like spending time with family and friends. I like gardening and working in the house - paint, wallpapering, tiling, etc. I sew, read, do crossword puzzles, take long hot bubble baths with a box of Godiva Chocolates within close reach. Overall, I stay fairly busy. You might say I'm a high energy person. Outside of the house I enjoy movies, love plays, love traveling, like hiking, boating, probably camping - but it's been a while. I like being outside.

I am very even tempered, usually in a good mood. I communicate well. I can make a point without having to be right (but I usually am :) ).

I haven't discovered what I'm looking for in my ideal match. But, it's probably the same thing that everyone else wants - that certain spark that can't be described. Best wishes to all of us in finding it!
