I'm looking for an easy going fun woman friend. I'm playful and not fussy, which means I enjoy a woman with a young mind, who is flexible and spontaneous, probably thinks at times like a kid before rational mind kicks in. Somebody who is willing to devote time to a relationship.

My daily life involves a working FT running a helath clinic, still find it interesting. My family are important to me. Unfortunately, they live around the globe, give an extra reason for travelling.

Keep busy---work out at the gym 3-4 times a week and go dancing at least a few times a week. I'm not a spotless person, but enjoy being relatively tidy, like to shop for fresh fruits and vegetables that are the basis of most of my cooking these days. I think of cleaning the house as a matter of personal competence---same stretches as a yoga or exercise class.

I'm politically and socially liberal, and a bit of a news junkie and regularly watch NPR, BBC, CNN, NY1, Charlie Rose. I used to read The Nation, but found one point of view too boring. I aattend westside independent democratic meetings regularly and will take a turn in telephone canvassing and other ways I can actively participate. Ideas and values are important to me compared to possessions. I'm very hopeful about Obama's attitude and the tone he's setting so far. Afraid of he's getting swamped by too many complex problems and entrenched republican block that views success as being unco-operative.

I regularly take in foreign films and documentaries IFC, film Forum, Quad, Lincoln Plaza. I occasionally spend a hour at MOMA or a Chelsea gallery, go to a sporting event, Enjoy beach and mountains, city year round, long walks and bike rrides through Riverside Park and along the Hudson.

I'm open to suggestion and things others like to do.

I'm an affectionate person and appreciate a partner who is an active lover. I'm not at all religious, but don't mind if partner pursues traditional faith.

I have a sense of humor, able to laugh at myself, can be silly at times.

Listen to jazz on WBGO, Irish music on WFUV, world music, less to classical these days, but I could be influenced to go to more performances and concerts.

Open to sharing all, including vacations and travel, with the right woman.
