Well what can I say? We all know why we're on this site; to find someone who may potentially be our "Significant Other" right? Well at least that's what I'm here for. My idea of a first date would be hanging out in a public place like the beach or a park, just talking and getting to know each other better. I would much rather the date be a 1 on 1 date, and not a double date or anything with friends. Although friends' feelings and thoughts are very important, it can be a very uncomfortable experience to have outsiders in on the date. After that first meeting tension has been broken however, being out with other friends is very important. But if the other person felt more secure and comfortable around others, I would just go with the flow anyways. Just depends on the person and the time/setting of the first date.
