Well this is a fish site so no sushi on the first date. I surely don't want to leave a bad first impresssion. How about that question " Do you do drugs?" ha ha ha. What a dumb question. How's a fish going to smoke underwater anyway? After thought, seaweed maybe? First dates are challenging. I prefer to try to keep it simple and expectations the same. Lunch or dinner or even coffee if that's the best alternative in a quiet place is a good start. Starbuck's for coffee is like McDonald's for dinner. It reminds me of a rescue mission. All those laptops taking up table space and no place else to go. I like to hear what the other person is saying and like to talk rather than yell. If it goes well meaning that you both walk out the door together. then you may want to do it again. Next time a little more time and add some entertainment. Music, dance, theatre. Its about second impressions and common and uncommon interests. First impressions seem to give way to reality at some point and thats when it gets interesting. SI?
