People come into our lives for a reason, a season or for a lifetime… which one will you be?

I believe that the most valuable thing in life is the people that you share it with... whether they are family, friends or folks just passing through for a brief time. I'm really fortunate to have wonderful family and friends... the only thing missing is that one special man.

The guy I'd like to meet should be open and honest.... no game playing. He should be able to find happiness within himself, value family/friends and be a caring, active person with varied interests who enjoys sharing experiences with the special person in his life. I’m looking for the whole thing.... true love, deep friendship and passion.

I'm a smart, creative and independent lady who values honesty, has a great sense of humor and loves to laugh... as a matter of fact it’s the little things in life that make me smile easily.... I’m a true believer that laughter is the best medicine. I’m friendly and outgoing... I enjoy people and lively conversation. You will also find that I’m a caring person who is openly affectionate, sensuous, fun-loving, enthusiastic, fair, positive, and open-minded. While my tendencies are to be active and enjoy what life has to offer, I also love quiet moments... especially with that special person... snuggling on the sofa, heart-to-heart conversation, sharing dreams and aspirations, romantic walks hand-in-hand, etc.

I have varied interests and am always open to discovering new ones! Some of my interests are (in no special order)…. wine, cooking, golf, exploring NYC, romantic walks, dancing, dining, movies, shopping, theater, music, comedy clubs, friends & family, bowling, art, photography & travel. I will confess that my golf skills have gotten rusty but I hope to remedy that situation now that the weather is here. Hmmmm.... Are there any golf coaches out there? Update...I went out to play recently and I discovered.... I don't need a coach.... I need a Miracle Worker!!!

And if you're wondering about my profile name… I grew up in a house where my grandfather made homemade wine every year. The old Italians believed that a little wine (& I do mean a little) was medicinal for the children and served it every night with dinner. This resulted in my acquiring a taste for red wine. To this day I prefer and really enjoy drinking robust red wines. Anyone up for a wine tasting?

I've also been given a gift… the opportunity to start over again. Here I am a few years older (ahem!) than when I graduated from college but with the same opportunities…. being single and being able to start a new career. While living through a divorce and corporate downsizing was a challenge, the end reward made it all worthwhile. There are silver linings!!!
