Hi, thanks for taking a look. I am intelligent, fun loving, serious, silly, honest to a fault, warm and caring, among other things. I have a great passion for people, children (as if they are different from people), animals (I live with several) and life. I am spiritual, not religious; I believe there is something bigger to life than what I see, and I try to be the best in this life I can be. My glass is not half full - it's overflowing! I am grateful for the many blessings in my life and, while the challenges of raising my three teens and finding the purpose for my being can loom large, I am always aware of the gifts.

I tend to revel in life's simple offerings - a walk along the canal, a ride in the country, a quaint restaurant, good conversation. I appreciate the more glamorous events too. I am happy to just connect.

I find peace in nature and am awestruck by the beauty around me. I especially love mountains and lakes (not that I've traveled much, but I will). All people and experiences have something to teach. I have a strong creative side, recently reacquainted with photography, and can be very playful. I love to laugh and cause others to laugh. I also have a love for philosophy and debate (friendly only). I am extremely loyal and am blessed with the most wonderful friends. Friendship is sacred to me.
