About Me
In this limited space to tell the world about myself, I will start off by saying that I am a tad weird, slightly hyper, somewhat neurotic, and a little over-enthusiastic about a number of things.
The weird: The walls of my bedroom are lined with over 10,000 picture cut out from magazines. If there were ever a fire and I had to choose between rescuing wads of cash or a stack of my magazines -- I'd probably choose the magazines.
The hyper: AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
The neurotic: A proud obsessive-compulsive, I almost got a slot on MTV's "I Have OCD", but was too well-adjusted to my disorder for television. I have also never been on an airplane, never had a sip of alcohol, and am kind of freaked out by all kinds of medication. But I'm surprisingly okay with myself.
The over-enthusiastic: I must see all Broadway musicals within the first three months of their opening and when I see something I enjoy, I tend to see that show way more than any normal person should (my current record is 75).
If you find yourself still reading -- thanks! Here's some other useless info:
I'm not a girly-girl and I don't believe in chivalry. Females should be just as nice to males as males should be to females. I also have a brother who used to pull his pants down so he could fart in my face, so nothing really phases me.
I love the entertainment industry and have been involved in it for over 7 years. Right now I'm an assistant at a talent agency and do random volunteer work for Broadway theaters.
I'm a writer. I used to do reporting for Teen People Magazine and in April, a musical comedy I co-wrote got a full production in Jersey.
I enjoy television A LOT. The anticipation over seeing new episodes of Lost actually keeps me up at nights, and I would like the theme song to The Jeffersons played at my funeral one day.
My ideal guy would be someone who has his own quirks and eccentricities, and embraces them wholeheartedly. Someone who'd rather play Scrabble than go out and party and someone who can hold their own in a political discussion. Sense of humor also helps, and a job wouldn't hurt either.
My ideal guy is NOT someone who has his shirt off in his profile... or anyone who feels the need to take their shirt off before posing for a photo. You have muscles - I get it! Now, put your clothes back on and let's go grab a burger.
