I have moved around a lot, this is my 8th move and I'm new to Canada...I like it a lot here but am still looking to make new friends and maybe even find that special girl. I studied business at the American University of Beirut and am continuing my studies at Concordia in the field of philosophy--a subject that I was always interested in and am grateful for having the time to study.
I have high aspirations for the future, and people expect nothing less of me anyways.
I come from a mixed background, my dads Arab and my mom is European, have also lived in both parts.
I live downtown, am not into clubbing much anymore but still enjoy nights out...
Last relationship I had lasted two and a half years but we moved apart, haven't had one since; I'm very romantic when I want to be but I usually tend to make girls feel that way anyways... Some love my poetry, I'm a good writer and whatever emotion I'm feeling strongly about usually gets me to write something, this hasn't happened for a year though! It really comes by itself...
Anyways I thought I'd give this a shot, don't got much to loose accept if a relative sees me here (embarrassing)...but then again what would they be doing here>??
I know what I want...just haven't found it yet. I hate air heads! I need to feel challenged by a woman sometimes...I enjoy intellectual conversation and love ppl with opinions. I've been to this great restaurant called O Noir, its a place that gives you the "blind experience" as the whole place is pitch black, you can't see anything, you choose your food at the entrance and are guided by hand to your table...It was freaky but I noticed that you become really relaxed when no one can see you and you can't see the person sitting in front of you, sounds weird but it really helps personalities shine through and keeps you from judging on personal appearances.
It wouldn't necessarily go there on a first date but I thought it was worth mentioning...
I am open to anything, I don't believe restaurants are a must but I do enjoy good food of all sorts! I would probably take you for a coktail somewhere nice first time around.
