Counting down to my trip to Tokyo in Jan. 2010 for 10 days. Can't wait! Anyone who has ever been give me some pointers.

About me… well let’s see. I love to go out and visit new places, see new things and meet new people. I have traveled all over the United States either just by driving or flying around for either business or just visiting my friends... (Hawaii, San Diego, Vegas, Texas, Arizona, Atlanta, Chicago, Arkansas etc.). I lived in Las Vegas for a bit (I don’t gamble) it was fun and I made some good friends but not a place to live for me. Lived in Hawaii (Oahu) for a about a year a few years ago. I absolutely fell in love with Hawaii! I made some really cool life long friends and go back as often as possible (2-3 times a year) to see friends and my godson. It is honestly I feel my second home. I have also traveled all over Europe many many times over. I even lived in Germany for a bit, which I loved. My family is from Germany and most are still over there. So I guess you can say I have been all over this place we call earth, but for now I call So. Cali. home.
But you never know...?

I love to be outside. Weather it is camping, riding dirt bikes, going to the beach, fishing, boating just to watch mother nature go on as if I am not there. It is just nice to get out of the city once in a while. As I am sure anyone who has lived in Southern California (or any other big city) can understand! Sometimes you just need to get the hell out of all the traffic, smog and concrete!

Just so you know… I am a big guy and always will be. I recently lost about 65lbs and try to work out about 3-5 times a week. This doesn't mean I am ripped at all but I can for sure hold my own. I am not a lazy at all... never have been. It just seems I am always on the go. So for those looking for some skinny fragile guy, then look elsewhere because I am not it. All I can do is just stay as healthy as possible. I don't drink accept maybe a toast at a wedding or maybe new years, it is very rare. I go to bed late and wake up early. I don’t seem to sit in one place for any length of time. But I always make time for my family and friends. They are what's most important to me. Also I am good with my hands. I tend to fix or work on everything I own (along with other peoples stuff).

Who I'd like to meet:

Someone Fun...exciting...outgoing...a positive person. I am a people person, and I like to have a good time. So I want the people around me to be able too do the same. I usually will go out of my way to make others happy or have a good time. I like somebody who is there own person, unique and not cookie cutter/fake (so friggin hard in So.Cal.). Also... I tend to date taller women (e.g. 5'7/8" - 6'1") but not always. As they say there are always exceptions to the rule. Someone who takes care of them self also would be nice. As I am trying to make a healthier choice, it would be nice to go out with someone who has the same outlook.

Something I learned while living in Hawaii:
When women wear a flower behind the ear, single women put the flower behind the right ear and women who are not available wear the flower behind their left ear.
