I am 25 years old. I am an elementary school teacher in my second year of the profession. I am qualified to teach JK-grade 10. I love what I do and am in it for the sake of making a difference in the lives of many children (and already have over the past 2 years). They often have as much of an affect on me as much as I do on them. I am currently teaching grade 3/4. I have aspirations of becoming a principal during my career and have already begun taking courses to be able to look at becoming a principal at the right time. I like to spend time with my friends and going out for drinks socially or coffee. I am very stimulated by intelligent conversation and the view points of others on various social issues. I like to be silly at times with friends too and it allows me to have a great deal of fun with my job everyday to keep the kid in me alive with the career I have. I love shopping and fashion. I love live music and going to concerts. I am a huge music fanatic. Even though I am musically declined, my love for music is evident in my music collection of around 2300 albums (indie rock, british rock, brit pop, dance rock, punk, electronic, metal, emo, rock). I love to spend time with my family and my little cousin and godson is the love of my life. We are best friends and hang out all of the time. Im looking for someone who is career driven, down to earth and accepting of the person who I am. I love what I do and my career takes up a great deal of my time right now and the person I meet has to be understanding of that. I always put my friends and others first as I have a very big heart. I'd like to meet someone with a great personality, good sense of humour and loves kids. My friends are a huge part of my life and very down to earth, amazing people and you have to be willing to spend time with them and get to know them too. On a first date (well contrary to most guys), I like small coffee shops for coffee and dessert to start off the night and enjoy chatting and getting to know one another. I find it silly trying to talk to someone to get to know them in a loud place like a bar or club. Being myself is what I pride myself on and like to get to show someone that and get to know someone that way on a first date. Afterwards, a drink at a bar is totally do-able if the night has been enjoyable and ended off with a nice walk under the stars and chatting some more to get some fresh air and more time to be oneself outdoors and get some air. Being spontaneous is something that can make a first date enjoyable.
