I'm old enough that I'm not interested in flings with no chance of developing into a long term relationship, but young enough that I'm in no a hurry to meet my one and only immediately. If we meet and sparks don't fly (in a good way!) then at least we've each made a new friend. And if we do hit it off, the sky's the limit.

As important as physical chemistry is in a relationship, if there's not a meeting of the minds, its not worth meeting in person. So a first date would be something that would let us talk and get to know each other. Whether its over a meal or walking through a museum (but not sitting next to each other silently in a movie theater), a first date should be about getting know the person on something more than a physical level.
