Moving on up to a better job! Hard work does get noticed!

I'm just looking for friends in my life to enjoy life with.

Friends first.. If something clicks... then we'll go from there.

I value my family, friends, honor, loyalty, duty, patriotism, kindness in others, compassion, honesty, humor and knowledge. I don't smoke, I don't drink normally, but may take one in every 8 to 10 years, and the only drugs I use are for living, not recreation.

I'm a kind hearted, laid back guy, with a strong appreciation of humor in all media, from a comic strip, to stand up comedy, to music comedy. I have been known to travel many miles to see a performer I enjoy. I am honest, sometimes brutally so. The only lies you'll get out of me is going to be from part of a joke, and at the end of it you'll know what was real or not. I love magic, the art of illusion, not the card game. It has been a hobby of mine since I was a child. It's fun to be fooled by a well performed illusion. Ask my fans :-)

Magic is fun and entertaining, but it is only make believe. Don't believe me, watch the masked magician or Penn & Teller, or go to the magic section of any bookstore or library.

Employment-wise, I work. A lot. Hopefully some overtime will be coming my way next week.... woohoo.

I enjoy cooking, movies, reading well written fiction and non-fiction, flea markets, yard sales, nature trails, concerts (musical and spoken word), science fiction, mysteries, crime dramas, conventions, I've already mentioned comedy but my passion for humor is so up strong that mentioning one more time won't hurt, vintage arcade games, (not much for the newer games) and the list goes on.

I enjoy most types of music, new wave, punk, folk, goth, Celtic, older country, a little bluegrass, pop, oldies, rock, some heavy, a little (very little) hip hop/(c)rap (only by a few comedy artists). My prime music interest is humor and not just Weird Al, but he will always be the king of parody to me.

I'm looking for friends who enjoy life, loves to laugh and fun to be with.

If something more clicks with a lady friend, she should like in-house cats (I have 3), have a really strong passion for comedy and night time walks. Must live nearby. Must live a reality based world.

I have no interest in anyone religious. Someone who can deceive themselves will deceive others. Grownups shouldn't have imaginary friends.

Also not interested in smokers, heavy drinkers or druggies.

First date.. hanging out and getting to know each other. Panera Bread with decaf coffee sounds like a nice time to chat.

Not into the bar or nightclub scene but will venture out after a few dates for a cool event now and again.
