What's there to say about me? I'll bring you up to speed. My name is Andrea and I'm 27 years old. I've never been married, and I don't have any children. I live in a small town in Western Kentucky where the newspaper only comes out once a week, we're blessed because we have a Wal*Mart AND 2 Dollar General Stores, and the sidewalks, without a doubt, roll up around 8 o'clock each evening. After many years of changing my mind, I've finally settled down. I'm in my third semester of nursing school and can start to see my future unfolding before my very eyes. I'm excited to find out where my life is going to take me, because really it's just beginning.

For the most part, I'm sassy and quick witted, but I'm also serious and quiet as well. I don't care for confrontations, but then again no one's going to run me over. As I'm getting older (yeah, I know, I'm making myself sound like I'm 90), I've realized what's important to me, what I can live without, and what I'm not going to settle for. My family and small circle of friends are important to me and I enjoy spending time with them.

I'm sassy. I'm one for the quick comeback, and love word banter. I'm serious but know when to let my hair down.

I am not looking for a fling or a one night stand but neither do I want to be walking down the aisle in 6 months. I'd like to start a relationship as friends with it hopefully progressing into something more serious.

I tend to be attracted to men who are ambitious, funny, and open minded. I like men who are goal oriented and have some idea of what they want out of their life.

I'm not so shallow as to reject someone because of their looks but do require that a man to have good hygeine, dress well, and care about their appearance. I'm not perfect, but I do at least put forth effort regarding my outward appearance.

As for what I'd like to do on a first date, I believe that interactive dates are the best way to get to know someone. What good does it to do sit in a dark theater staring at a screen? Granted, sometimes that is fun, and I won't deny that I like movie dates, but initially I like something a little more than just a movie.

On a side note: I sometimes think people that online sometimes feel too "free" in their willingness to share and demand to know everything about a person within 15 minutes of talking to them. Just because there are 2 screens, and a couple of miles between us doesn't get someone carte blanche to ask things they wouldn't if they were face to face. Use some common sense, and have some respect when interacting with the other fish.
