A lot of folks can't understand how we came to have an oil shortage here in the UK - well, there's a very simple answer :-
Nobody bothered to check the oil, we just didn't know we were getting low. The reason for that is purely geographical - our OIL is located in the North Sea, our DIPSTICKS are located in Westminster.
Talking to a guy in town yesterday. (15th. June 08) An older fella. Mid 60s. Fancied himself 'a lad' when he was younger. Probably a little of that going on now too. Says: 'Oh, them young girls. All they want from a guy my age is money.
HE THEN SAID Thank goodness I have some!' ( Now that did make me laugh) Sometimes it's good to be BAD.
