Alright…
Let’s give this a try.

I have a 12 year old son that is involved in
just about everything imaginable. Watching
him “doing” is my greatest joy. It doesn’t
matter what it is. I just like watching him
growing up and becoming who he is,
whether it is on the basketball court or
making himself a sandwich. He spends the
night with me a couple nights a week and
we do Dad and Kiddo stuff. (Father and Son
sounds so sterile)

I’m a “hopeful” romantic / not “hopeless.”
I love to make the person I’m with smile - a
smile I know is made and meant just for me.
I like slow dancing in the kitchen while
the pasta boils and then deciding we’re not
really that hungry anymore.

I believe kissing is a lost art form that
needs daily practice. And that even though
there is plenty of room, one often still
should let their hand or body softly brush
against the other as they help put away
dishes and stuff.

My idea of one of, if not the “neatest”
feelings ever, is just sitting holding hands
…maybe in a little hole in the wall diner
(I love those places, as if we discovered them)
…or maybe on the couch watching a movie.
It doesn’t matter where… But you know
when the hand holding moves to “finger
touching?” Each slowly touching and
watching their own fingers being touched
by the other. Watching, feeling and being
that close – that connected. It may seem silly,
but that gentle, soft and caring touching
…that moment … those moments, when it seems
there is nothing else in the world that matters
and you only wish the feeling could last forever.

I’d like to find someone, who like me, would
love nothing more than to share just as
many of these moments as we could ever
possibly fit into this lifetime.
