I'm basically down-to-earth and unpretentious and have an interest in artistic and intellectual things as well as a strong social conscience. I can be opinionated, but I'm also a person of compassion and humility. I'm not superficial, and I don't want to be arm candy. While I continually strive to evolve, learn and grow . . . I am still a work in progress.

On the lighter side - I love to laugh and cook for friends and family. I love going to movies, the theater - Broadway or Off Off, having a night out or just hang at home and order in. I don't like bars or the club scene; I prefer intimate gatherings with close friends and family.

I'm simply looking to meet someone who is kind, compassionate and heartfelt, and who, in whatever way large or small, wants to make the world a better place with his art, intellect, kindness, compassion, or generosity . . . . I'm not much interested in money, status, power or keeping up with the Jones's. I seek someone who values people MORE than material things. Chemistry is crucial, but I'm also looking for a strong connection on all levels.
