***UPDATE 10/3: Currently I'm too busy with some personal endeavors and broke because of home equity loans I'm working to pay back, but I'm all for the occasional dinner, hanging out, and making new friends.*** Since I don't believe in dating at work and many of my friends are married and/or moved away, it's nearly impossible to meet new people. I'm looking to date and get to know great women out there. In a committed relationship, I look for someone sweet, professional/educated, exciting, spiritual, open-minded, health-conscious, intelligent, funny, younger (than I) with no children, and unmaterialistic, someone who possesses that "best friend" quality if that makes sense, in short someone I can stay with and grow with over time and be content in that journey together. If I can't find exactly what I'm looking for, I still want to spend time with great women who can teach me about life. I enjoy the partnership of being in a relationship most, doing things together such as shopping, working out, sleeping in, late nights out. I think of myself as educated, funny (so I've been told), spiritual, art-appreciating, introspective, friendly, considerate, kind, playful, intelligent, ambitious (own my own home which I am restoring), sensitive (which seems to scare some women away...LOL) ,open-minded, fun-loving, and responsible. I enjoy the little things in life, which turn out not to be so little after all (such as listening, talking, laughing, getting to really know people--'turns out the best things in life truly are free!) I'm mostly a homebody when single. I also love a good road or day trip, just getting away for a while as well as the beach and camping. Music is important to me as well. I'm not a big drinker, and I don't smoke, because I try to live the healthiest possible lifestyle and value that in a partner. I work as a counselor with youth and enjoy it for the most part. I'm just trying to maintain a positive lifestyle for me and those I love. Ethnicity/race is not an issue by the way. Getting to know new people who want to hang out with me (and my dog, Koby) with a possibility of a future is my goal. Finally, one thing I like best about myself when it comes to women is my ability to find aspects that they dislike about themselves to be adorable to me. Thanks for listening to me ramble! :)
