I'm ready for a committed relationship but I am not desperate. Please, if you're still stuck on an ex, feel the need that you absolutely HAVE to have somebody in your life, or feel sorry for yourself that "nobody loves you"...then I am not interested.

I enjoy a variety of interests and an open to trying new things (as long as it doesn't involve snakes). I can usually be found working on projects around my house, hanging out with my kids, or cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

My kids are the most important thing in my life but I realize they won't be around forever (at least I hope they're out on their own someday). I will not compromise my beliefs and values when it comes to them. For that matter, I won't compromise myself either.

I drink very little and am not looking for somebody who's life revolves around partying/drinking. I will not tolerate drug use...even just a little. I want the person I'm with to be able to laugh but also be able to have a serious conversation from time to time. Please be able to support yourself, not live off a family member or friend. I understand that life throws curveballs but if this is your way of life then I'm not interested.

So, now that we've got that straight, and you're still reading this...I love to tease/joke around, spend time outdoors doing most anything (once again, as long as it's not snake hunting), and am open to trying most anything.
