I have been blessed with a growing number of solid female friends.


This well-maintained 1948 model is a Canadian Classic. Product of a French-Canadian lineage and the English culture which has surrounded him most of his life. Has an open parking spot available. But he must be shared with the four-legged Jewel...

He has traveled through highways and byways, on super highways and dirt roads, enjoyed both smooth roads and rather bumpy ones...I'm not a compact, sporty car - nor am I a limo - but i am a very comfortable AWD type of vehicle... great at taking curves and smoothing them out... and my exhaust doesn't expel any blue smoke! Through sun, rain, snow and sleet, have made it through! Can sometimes be found in golf course parking lots.

Spring has given back his usual spit and polish, as he got rid of the winter blahs and weighty dirt. He has driven in the Caribbean during the winter, on the wrong side of the road in England and on hairpin turns in Italy.. other trips are planned...

Looking for a similar vintage model, hopefully a head-turner - compact to mid-size, with a free spirit - who wants to park next to me, possibly rub fenders or gently hit bumpers... with possibility of a long-term parking arrangement.

I love cooking, photography, travel and pampering my "special someone".

In past lives, have been a public servant - as an employee and as an elected representative.

Have travelled to Europe (UK, France, Spain, Italy and Greece), Morocco, Trinidad and St Maarten, as well as many states and all Canadian provinces.

My Ideal Person:
A woman who oozes with confidence and can transmit it across a room, with but a glance!

A woman who looks and acts younger than her age...

A woman who will allow herself to be pampered...

The quiet of the country is incredibly beautiful when I return from places like Toronto, Ottawa and far away places ... the sunrise at the foot of my bed, over the river, sets the tone for the day! Evenings in front of my wood-burning stove. I try to put as much into every day as I can. I have finally started to decorate the house the way I'd like it... my bedroom was first!

I love intimacy: holding hands, cuddling and kissing.. so beware, as it's in my french-Canadian genes! :down:

My favourite is a picnic in the summer - which I would prepare. Spring or Fall- an outdoor café. A coffee shop or the neighbourhood bar. All provide an opportunity for a discussion and getting to know each other.
