I lived in Tampa, FL for a little over a year, but I moved back to Illinois to be closer to my family and friends. And the CUBS! I grew up in the suburbs and will come back there for a bit, but fully expect to be living in the city before 2010. And even though I will know plenty of people from high school and former jobs, it wouldn't hurt if I got to know someone special before I even move back. It says I should describe my hobbies, but I thought that was the point of writing my interests above...do you agree? I guess the major theme to pull from my interests/hobbies is that I like to be active but I also have a variety of interests and that is exactly what I am looking for in a girl. Someone to relax with watching movies, or be active with and play sports together, or someone to class it up with and catch a nice dinner and a show.

I am very hard to pigeonhole and I like that about me. I am very responsible and mature, but goofy almost all of the time trying to make people laugh with my sarcastic, sometimes dirty humor. I am very independant and don't need anybody to do anything for me and I don't expect anyone to do anything for me. I guess that's the only child in me. But I love doing things with others and being around cool, like minded people! My degree is not anything to write home about, so that is why I WILL be starting a master's program within the next 2-3 years.

In an ideal situation I would meet someone on here who is athletic (I have a huge thing for girls who play/played softball and/or volleyball), but can also dress up and look cute with the skirts and the heels and likes being "girly" too. I am also looking for someone who can be goofy and silly and likes to laugh, but can also be mature and responsible.

In my opinion there are 3 components to a "perfect" first date: activity, conversation and food/beverage. So for me that would mean a game of mini-golf or bowling, followed by dinner or just drinks all the while getting to know each other.
