A little bit about me:

I'm very easy to get along with and don't ask for much from other people. I'm a laid back, down to earth, and smart man. I don't get excited about too much. Usually I am calm and collected. For the most part, I am not one to act on a whim. I usually think about things before I undertake them. I prefer for things to be planned out. I love watching goofy sitcoms like "Seinfeld" and "Everybody Loves Raymond." I love to laugh and I'm constantly cracking jokes, if for no other reason than to amuse myself.

When I first meet someone I'm a little shy at first and I don't talk a whole lot. I'm not a big talker anyway, but especially when I first meet someone. I am, by nature, a listener and observer. I prefer to let others do most of the talking and I chime in when I have something to say. On the other hand, get me started on Illini sports or Cardinals baseball and you'll never shut me up.

One of my better attributes is listening to people and helping them when they have a problem. When I was in college a few of my friends jokingly referred to me as their psychologist. I don't claim to have all the answers, or any of them for that matter, but I am very trustworthy and compassionate. I know how to ask the right questions to help people figure things out for themselves.

I'm a pretty big sports fan, but I know how to keep it in check. There are many more important things in the world. I enjoy watching the Cardinals, Rams and various Illini sports.

I have a two-year old son who is the light of my life. My entire world revolves around him. If you aren't good for him, then you aren't good for me. I am one of the few lucky guys out there who has full custody, so I spend a lot of my free time taking care of him.

My Favorite........

Books - I like anything by Tom Clancy or John Grisham. I also enjoyed the Bourne Trilogy. I'm a sucker for a sports book...... imagine that.

Movies - I'm not real picky about movies, I enjoy most of them. Some favorites through the years have included Friday Night Lights, American Pie, Major League, James Bond movies and anything with Clint Eastwood or John Wayne in it.

Music - I listen to pop, rock, r&b and some rap. My current favorite song is Patron Tequila by the Paradiso Girls.

TV - My "must see TV" list is The Office, House and Burn Notice. I'll also watch reruns of Two And A Half Men and That 70's Show when I don't have anything better to do. Having a young son, I invariably end up watching shows like Spongebob Squarepants, The Wonder Pets and even iCarly. Yeah, that's right, my 2 year old knows who Carly is.

Food - Pizza, Chinese, Mexican. I'm a big fan of Dos Reales. My big fast food weakness is Taco Bell.

You might be a good match for me if:

1. You are good with kids and accepting of the fact I have a young son.
2. You have a great sense of humor.
3. You are not overly high-maintenance.
4. You are capable of having an intelligent conversation with me
5. You have a basic understanding of personal finance and you have control over your spending habits.
**Bonus points if you enjoy sports, even if it's just a little bit.

This is tough to answer. It depends on the weather, the girl and so many other factors. I hate movies for first dates. If you can't talk, how can you get to know each other?
