About Me
*So I've been told! 'Kind Of' being the key words, as down to earth is my way of life with the bouts of evil being very good natured and generally brief. I at least promise not to bite until I get to know you ;-)
I'm a freshly earned BA (in Psychology/Anthropology) looking forward to the world of possible opportunities and adventures.
School aside, my best lesson learned has been 'don't let your books get in the way of your education'. Life is too short not to question that which surrounds you, and take every moment and experience for all that it is worth.
A few lessons learned from my non-academic schooling include:
*The healing powers of side-aching laughter. Life and the world are funny things, and an easy and frequent use of laughter has made the good times more enjoyable and the difficult more bearable. The ability laugh yourself and make me laugh a little more and a little harder will go far :-)
*Personally cooked meals, especially if the meal is being prepared for (or with!) someone special. I eat mostly vegetarian, but won't try to impose my habits on you. That goes for anything and everything as I'm interested in getting to know you for you, sharing the enjoyment of what we have in common and the coolness of what we can introduce to each other.
*The morning of that first day in a land far, far away, removed from the familiar with the anticipation of the unknown and the adventure of having it become something known. I'm over-due for my next adventure and am looking for a willing companion!!
*Inside jokes. And the intimate comfort that goes along with sharing and enjoying an inside joke.
*Tossing caution to the wind. Sometimes the best sort of planning and anticipation is to do neither and welcome the unexpected. Most of life is what happens while your busy making other plans, and I'm in no rush to cross the finish line without reaching out to new experiences and people.
*Being kissed. 'Nuff said ;-)
*Fresh air. While I'm all for reserving some days of being a complete and utter homebody. . .ultimatly I'm a sucker for getting out and enjoying me some life. Anything from playing tourist in my own city (maybe next time with someone to show me the sites through their eyes?!), a night out with friends or taking a moment to simply take in some fabulous scenery (preferably including the ocean!) to just relax. . .I want to be part of life, not just an observer.
*Live music. Preferably in a small venue with good food, good drink and good company!
*Family. I hail from a large and wonderfully ecclectic and crazy crew to whom I am very connected.
You use a wicked sense of humour and playfullness to take a break from the serious part of life, and infuse both with honesty and integrity. You're grounded and comfortable in your own life but can't resist reaching out to new experiences and people. You will challenge my world while appreciating and accepting it, and are true to yourself above all else.
Definatly, have heart. And soul.
I'm looking for someone to compliment me. Someone to stand beside me. Someone to find myself in the rain with (I'm not talking entirely of the weather). A partner in crime.
Interested in wreaking a little havoc?!
First Date
Introducing me to your favorite coffee shop/restaraunt or out-of-the-way bookstore provides a nice segway into getting to know each other outside of text. The sky is the limit as far as what may follow. . .
And remember: this online piece of me, as is a first (first few, actually) in person meeting, is just a smidge of who I am. And that lack of romantic chemistry should not necessarily eliminate the chance of a potential friendsip. Much of life is about the connections we make, of any and all kinds, and who am I to close myself off to any number of such connections just because we contacted each other through a 'dating' site.
Ebo has 2 roses that can be sent.
