Jason the dreamer wants to be a Rock Star.

Jason the realist knows that his Rock Star prime is nearing its end at 34.

It has no real effect on me. I play because I love it not because of some delusion of grandeur (although I’ll take Chris Cornell’s house over mine any day). We can’t stop dreaming, what are we without them? ;)

I am seeking a simplified version of the dream. I will always be a musician, but crave long-term stability in love and in life.

In a word, I am looking for a partner.

We are the sum total of our experiences. Life is not one thing, but a series of moments that give us our emotional responses to memories and euphoric daydreaming from the really good ones.

Three month online courtships aren't for me. Neither is dating someone that has to pencil me in for next Tuesday because of her social calendar. Nothing against anyone, it's just not for me. What ever happened to boy meets girl, boy and girl are enamored with one another and create a space that they is theirs and see what happens?

Whether you are 27 and outgrowing you peers or 36 and not ready to settle (never settle!), I have a lot to offer as friend, partner, lover and human being.

I have to add a caveat here… I’m not opposed to dating someone younger…. If you’re under 27 and don’t have the zygote mentality…. IE.. Inconsistency, lack of maturity, the “me, me, me” frame of mind etc…yet truly know who you are and what you want, we’re good, but I’ve wasted too many hours talking to people that are just that….talk….with no real direction…Why start a conversation with no intention finishing it, no matter how well it goes?…I’m not looking for a chat pal…


Truths about me...

I have a pretty dark personality....scary books, movies, walks in the woods at twilight...anything to make the hair stand up on my neck....I like strange people, strange parties, bars, hangouts.... They’re entertaining, but by no means am I really a bar/club person.

In opposition, I am also the off color, roll on the floor laughing, joker type…

A musician and composer, quiet and confident versus loud and arrogant, when I love someone it has an intensity that could rival anything I can think of. I am fiercely protective, but not jealous.

I have a real job and a 5 year old son from a previous marriage that lives with his mother, he kicks ass...if you like highly intelligent, opinionated 5 year olds that prefer hanging with the heathens versus watching cartoons... Although he digs high end animation...Pixar stuff and all that....me too...

Likes: Honesty, Intelligence, Beauty in many forms(subjective)...Honestly beautiful, intelligent women that look further than the end of my wallet chain. Video games that I can drive like a maniac in because I don't dare drive like that in real life...Any book that grabs my attention, regardless of subject matter...Twisted senses of humor, ok..twisted people in general...Sexually free people...not promiscuous, free...as in...the mind... Coffee, Mocha's occasionally, Grey Goose and Red Bull occasionally... Learning and/or writing new songs for friends.... Right now they have me working on Seether-Broken, Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven and Counting Crows - Round Here...I'm a ridiculous Pink Floyd fan... piercings, tats… goth girls are my weakness...classic Victorian looking dead girls...no, not really dead...Think Kate Beckinsale in Underworld.. Slightly dysfunctional human beings ...they're my tribe...lol...

Dislikes: The basics...Racism, Sexism, Abuse and Neglect on all levels...Treat people well, you might find the one... People that say I'm too much...maybe it's that they're too little....it's all where you're at... again I have to add zygotes to this list…
