Hello! Thanks for stopping by to check me out. Let me tell you a little about me. I have been in Bellingham for about 5 years now. I am originally from Olympia so a Washingtonian through and through. I love the rain. I love that we have different kinds of rain like Eskimo people have different kinds of snow. I love this area. It is so beautiful and green, especially the area between Alger and Bellingham on I-5, that is what brought me to Bellingham from Seattle. I went to school at the University of Washington, received a Bachelor's degree in Social Welfare. Currently I am a case manager, working with adults with chronic mental illness, helping them to live independently in the community. I have the heart of a social worker. Unkindness and unfairness make me angry. I like to give a smile, a listening ear to those who others usually walk by or try to avoid. I enjoy hearing others stories and like to understand what makes he/she tick. I like to understand what is going on below the surface, understanding the deeper meaning. I am terrible at small talk. I am curious, I like to ask questions. I work hard every day to better understand myself, where I have come from in order to create a life that I love to live. On a day to day basis I enjoy spending time with good friends, creating a home where I love to be, spend time my 3 adorable kitties, create some kind of visual art, love to work with my hands, I have been taking pottery classes lately and have LOVED it, get out into Bellingham, eat at a good local restaurant, go to a park, wander around thrift/antique stores, read a book, people watch, write poems about my thoughts and what I see around me...
I consider myself smart, independent, unique, genuine, honest, kind - I appreciate the same in others.
I am looking for a partnership. I do not believe in halves making one whole or lyrics from songs that say, "I'll die without you" "You are my everything" "I was nothing until I found you". I just saw on another person's page that said 1+1=3. I like that, I agree with that.

I have had different kinds of first dates. I don't have one thing I would or would not do. I think drinks and dinner are nice although I always appreciate someone with excitement to try something new together.
