I'm a work in progress......

Just because it says I'm looking for Long Term, it doesn't mean I expect long term within a few dates! It takes time to find Mr. Right.


I'm not searching for perfection, just a man perfect for me. It doesn't matter to me that we may have different interests, which are what makes us unique. I am a student of life and love to learn. You can teach me the nuances of Football or the philosophies behind Existentialism. Hopefully you are just as open and are willing to learn from me also. You must be comfortable with yourself and not be afraid to show your softer side to me. I wear my heart on my sleeve and that's not about to change. You will know that I adore you, and I want to be able to look into your eyes and see that adoration reciprocated.

I have been raising my two boys, ages 18 and almost 16, pretty much on my own for the better part of their lives now as I've been separated for 10 years. I have found dating single dads in the past much easier as they do understand the rigors of a single parent's life however having said that, I am not opposed to dating a man that does not have children. He must understand that at my age, I'm not willing to bare another child.

I am hoping to find someone local. Makes it much easier for dating don't you think? I miss spoiling a man and being spoiled in return (I'm not talking in the material sense). Getting out and doing something we can both enjoy, whether it's out to a lovely spot for a drink and some enjoyable music or out for a stroll, beating the pants off of you at mini golf or watching a thunderstorm roll in. The list is endless as long as we enjoy each other's company.

I just miss the hand holding, cuddling and great conversations with that special someone in my life. Now....where can he be? I know he's out there! Not here looking for intimate encounters so you may want to move on.
