One of the challenges in this online dating thing is that we try to take a snapshot of who we are, our likes and dislikes, etc. But we are not that simple. The expanse of a human being is too large to fit here. So then how do we know what aspects of ourselves to put down? Do we change it periodically? What if we miss the one because we forgot to put down something? I don't know the answers to any of it. So do we talk forever, rambling on about ourselves? Increasing the chances of turning someone off? Or hoping to weed out those who wouldn't be right anyway? Again, I don't know.

So, I'll categorize my rambling.

Kids: I have no kids, but have 4 godkids and 1 nephew that keep me young at heart.

Home: I live in an apartment, with a kitten and soon to be saltwater fish.

TV: There are very select shows that i watch, i love watching a good movie often.

Sports: i like to watch hockey, volleyball, football, basketball and some baseball.

Work: I work for a towing company in st.pete, and have been doing this work for about 8 yrs now. My schedule is kinda screwy, but very managable. I say I don't like my job, but I really do. No I don't. Anyway, I am good at it.

Activities: I'll do whatever. I don't really care as long as who Im doing it with is happy and enjoying themselves. I am pretty open.


Body: I pretty much have an average body, i got the typical love handles and a small gut. But nothing that some crunches and jogging cant get rid of. i go jogging and rollerblading whenever i get the chance and the weather is nice.

Music: I like most kinds. I favor R&B, some hip hop and some rock. I love to see local live music and go to music festivals.

Food: Im really not that picky when it comes to food. Pretty much as long as it tastes good then im up for it. i will admit that i have been partial to chinese lately.

Beverage: Beer. And wine. I am a beer snob. Liquor tends to cause difficulty in making good choices, Rational thoughts, etc. And certain mixed drinks in the right company is always good.

Smoking: I have recently quit smoking and it is the hardest, yet the best thing that i have ever done for myself!

Religion: I am not, at all. I have not been for many years. I don't plan on changing either.

Personality: "Not right" according to my best friend. I am warm, vibrant, friendly, outgoing, independent, charming, funny, brainy, unconventional, passionate, tolerant, social, courteous, elusive, compassionate, wacky, an idealist, innovative, eccentric, witty, opinionated, amusing, inquisitive, interested in what makes people tick.

Well, if you are still reading, you just may be able to keep up with me. I can go on and on and on...oh, and I am also a good listener.

Just something out of the ordinary. dinner and movies are too typical. something ideal would be going somewhere that we could talk but still have fun and learn about each other. There is just absolutely too much stress involved in sitting down in a restaurant and trying to dish out your life's history in a short period of time.

I think being in a open relaxed enviornment is a much better way to let loose and actually see what the other person is like when they are themselves....regardless if it's dead serious of being goofy!
