I'm a night owl, I think since birth. Generally on here til much too late at night browsing the forums, and the occassional profile or two

If I say hello to you, its because something funny or interesting about your profile has caught my attention. Might be a picture or a thought or even sometimes, a funny headline. I dont care if you have a picture or not, I'm still willing to chat.
I'm proud to be a stubborn, sarcastic and sassy Newfie.. who still has hopes that one day Toronto will pull their heads out of their ass and win the cup eventually

I love road trips, being with friends or being out in a group, even if its just out for supper or a fire pit party. I'm allergic to alcohol so I dont ever drink but I still know how to have a great time and it sure beats having a hang over the next morning

I have a tendancy for blunt honesty or saying the first thing that is on my mind. I've been chatting online for years and can read people pretty good and figure out whats their thinking, even what motives they have. That being said I'll save those people some time and try to make my point very clear.
I'm not on here to get laid. Good for you if you are, just dont bother to say hi to me. I'm here in times of boredom and because of my friends. I enjoy checking out the forums and have no trouble voicing my opinion, even if it isnt popular. I've never been one to go with the flow when it comes to my thoughts and opinions just to agree with every one else and make nice. My thought is your friends should like you regardless of your thoughts and opinions and every one is allowed to think differently. Plus a good debate sometimes spices it up. :)
I am always free for a great chat, so feel free to try the IM. I will actually put some effort into chatting if I do contact you, so I'd like the same back if your thinking about saying hi to me. Its really disapointing when all a guy can ask is hi, how are you, and goes completely blank after that. Or a one sided conversation where only one person is asking questions. Makes for a very borring chat very fast.
Thats about all I have to say so good luck in your searches, what ever they may be.
Newfies:
The moment you lose your faith in people, I recommend you
save up your pennies and take a trip to Newfoundland. Meet
the Newfies and your faith will be restored.
You will meet total strangers and they will become your friends.
You will walk in as an unknown soul and come out with buddies
who'll stand up for you in any fight.
You will hear them laugh at themselves, sing songs and tell tales.
They will take life's curves with grace and know that being alive
is a whole lot better than being dead.
They will treat you for who you are and not put on phony airs.
If you need a hand, you get an army.
They will take you in, buy you a round, make you part of the
family and by the time you leave the Rock, you'll fall in love
with the place.
You see, Newfies are Newfies wherever they go.
After all, as John Crosbie once said, "You can always tell the
Newfies in Heaven, they're the ones who want to go home."
If your faith is saggin, hug a Newfie ......

I've always wanted to go to a shooting range and see how good my shot is. If someone is into that I'm game. Then again with this cold weather, a good restaurant or quiet cafe where they serve great hot chocolates, and some nice music is always a good place for some great conversations.
