Now and in the future is the time to live. The past is gone, lets embrace it for what it taught us, and plan for today and tommorrow. I plan to stay in the Dallas area, but whether in my home or another is open. I like to travel, especially short trips for two or three days, and at least one longer trip a year (passport in current if needed). South Texas was my boyhood home, and I like to visit relatives at least once a year, usually on the way to South Padre. Now retired, I have worked at a variety of jobs, and business interests me. I enjoy season tickets to the Dallas symphony, and frequent Theater Three, and tha Bass Music Hall for select programs each several times a year. I am concerned about the usual things, terrorism, world poverty, international hostilities, aids, ecological concerns, and dwindeling natural resources but haven't figured out a solution to any of these. I do contribute regurally to causes that I think address some of these problems.

I would like to date and have a continuing relationship (not marriage at this time) with a fit, slender, adventurous person (probably a widow) who shares some of my experiences, and most of my concerns, who is optomistic and fun.

The first date should be a quiet time to learn the interests of each other. A meal should be included, and a non-hurried comfortable atmosphere is a must. It will probably be approximately midway (mutually convenient) for us. Will you join me?
