Hi there, ladies! Anybody else had enough of dating different people? If so, give me a shout! I'd like to find a woman who is capable of being in an honest relationship. No games---just honest-to-goodness fun and rewarding, serious companionship!

I've been divorced 5 years in addition to the 2 previous years of being separated. I've dedicated those years to bringing up my kids, and making sure they had every opportunity to grow as individuals. Now it's time for me to start concentrating on my own personal happiness.

I moved to Sheboygan, WI last year after living in Mississippi from 2001-2008. Life here is new to me, and I've been using my free time to explore the area. I've been to festivals, concerts, high school events, museums, amusement park rides, and a zoo since coming to live here. I've mainly been getting into the car and driving to different towns and cities....sometimes with a loose plan....sometimes without. Once there, I see what there is to do. As you can probably tell, I like to wing it. I've found it's much more exciting and fun that way!

I learned a lot about Thomas the Tank Engine, Barney, and the Teletubbies when my kids were young. Now that they've got their own social lives to worry about, I'm finding myself left with more and more free time. I'd enjoy having someone intelligent to enjoy outings with, conversations (fun & light-hearted, and also serious & thought-provoking), and even quiet evenings out to dinner or just relaxing at home confiding our dreams and aspirations with one another.

I grew up listening to The Beatles. Although their music was always my favorite as I was growing up, I also loved listening to all kinds of rock. As time passed, I started enjoying most Top 40 music. That's mainly what I listen to now. I still prefer rock/alternative.....but I can enjoy just about anything that's played on the radio. In fact, you may see me singing along in my car. I don't think I'll ever stop doing that! Give me a good song with a good beat, and I'll try my best to join in! (I used to sing and play instruments in bands throughout the 80s and early 90s before parenthood kind of eased me away from it.)

Anyway....

I think a good first date could involve coffee or dinner in a quiet restaurant where we would be able to learn about each other in a relaxed atmosphere. Then, if things go well, perhaps we could follow that with a nice long walk on a pier or in a park.
