This is some of what is on the surface:

ADVENTUROUS - There are simply too many experiences out there to not explore our world as much as possible - I've already been to all seven continents with many more places yet to visit.

FUN - I have an active life doing the things that I enjoy (see interests above).

STABILITY - I prefer to meet life's challenging situations with a smile and laugh, rather than anger. I believe that mutual respect should be a cornerstone of all relationships - romantic and otherwise.

PERSEVERANCE - I have Wilson's Disease - which gives me an odd sounding voice and an occassional tremor in one hand. No big deal, but I believe in truth in advertising. It does not stop me and I hope it won't stop you :)

What I am seeking:

A kindred spirit to share experiences and, most importantly, have fun with. Someone who wants to be treated well but can stand to be teased some times. Someone who approaches life with passion and wants to share that with me. Someone I can make laugh and who will inspire such joy in me.

Sometimes you know right away; other times it grows over time. The only way to find it is to meet people and that is why I am here. :)

I very much believe in using the internet as but a means to an end. As such, I like to meet most of the people I correspond with as soon as possible (i.e. after a few messages).

That being said, I try to keep two concepts in mind for first meetings - simple yet spontaneous. So going for a drink is a good way to start - if things go well, it can always be followed up with a walk by the lake, a theatre or comedy show, a wine tasting, or whatever we feel like.
