I'm not one of those people who claims to have this life business figured out. I don't have a master plan for my future or a blueprint for how to get there. I know I’ve made it this far and, pending a surprise impact with the front of a bus, I’ll make it the rest of the way too.
I’ve had adventures. Shivered nights away in a tent during a thunderstorm, felt the fury of contaminated water while hugging a toilet, and taken group pictures from the hard-earned summit of a mountain. Driven all day, all night, too fast, off road, even off the road. I travelled to Europe and came back with a hunger for home.
I’ve got skills too. I can light fires, change tires, wash a mean dish , balance a budget, and pump gas to an even amount every time. I’m always happy for the opportunity to learn something new, even if it is in the dark while stranded on the side of the road or in the middle of the trail. And sometimes you just have to fake it until you make it.
Most importantly I have great friends, great family, and a great life. And so long as the seasons change, my back can still carry a load and my mind doesn’t quit on me, I don’t see me sitting down and putting a plan to paper
