I'm a 5th generation Oregonian from Portland and finally made it back to Austin TX in '07, and this is now home.

I am The Rouge Prince of Texas, but friends often call me The Legend or just Willie. Wanna find be? Google Barry Willie Black... stalkers stay away... I mean it! I've already been there, done that, or should I say, they did.

Can you handle me singing Willie Nelson songs the rest of my life? Middle name happens to be William, I love to sing and it can be anything from a 1940's fav of my Dad's to Nickelback, Gospel to Southern Rock. Trace Adkins to LeAnn Rimes and all the way back to 60's R&B, and then onward to Uncle Cracker and Tom Waites. We're hoping to have a venue soon in metro Austin for producing gigs for bands and independant musical artists. Just starting a small studio and will begin recording soon. As you can probably tell, I love music (blues, R&R, country, even my son's brand new hip-hop... not that commercial stuff, but what he's written and recorded). After 40 years of singing, I bought a guitar finally (make that 4, a fiddle, and a brand new banjo!). Yes, life is good!

Can you be real and be fun, at the same time? I'm interested in finding a best-friend to help satisfy the incurably, romantic adventurer in me, Could you be myOne? I believe in Honesty, Trust, Acceptance, Self-less Love, and free-flowing spontaneous acts of Affection and Sense-less acts of random Kindness. Sigmund Freud said, It only takes two things for a man to be happy, Work and Love. I've been single for over 16 yrs now and I got plenty of work. The one I seek should be youthful and honest, sexy and modest in the same person. It is my belief that open and direct communication between two people is required in order to have a successful relationship.

My name means straight-forward or braveheart & I'm laid-back and mellow. Before I reached 40 my father said I would have a 40" waist, I said NOT! At 53 I still wear the same size Levi's & shirts I wore in high school. I'm a well-groomed, Long-haired, bearded, spiritually-centered, mountain-man-type guy in a much more modern world (some say hippie, while others say cowboy). I clean up real well for the city, but I love the mountains, animals, horses, gold mining, the beach and rivers. I like to think I'm well balanced, and well endowed, intellectually, and otherwise (my IQ is 162). I'm known for being able operate out of both halves of my brain (that right-brain left-brain stuff). I'm intelligent, yet very intuitive and sensitive, and I have a healthy rein on my emotions. I'm still looking for the True Romance of my life.

For a while I was trying to earn a world record from Guinness World Records. I have earned a total of 455 certifications and 66 Master certifications. I am occupied as an Online Service Owner, running my own servers and working on outside contracts and projects, including this long term project for the State of Texas.

This has been a really great time for my career, but I really like being out in the wild a whole lot more, but what is missing is a lady to do things with. I like Camping, fishing, hiking, horse-back riding, prospecting, exploring. I love all animals great and small. I also enjoy doing home improvement projects around the house as well as gardening and I'm a great handyman... some say the original Mr. Fixit Man.

God should be more than a word you say occasionally, and if you have a relationship with His Son, then we could be set for an eternity. I have been a Christian since I was young, but I'm not the overly religious sort... but I know what I know. There are those that want me to run for President... so we're in discussions with all my friends about running for office (sure would be grand to have a "First Lady"). Think maybe something here in Texas would be better suited for a guy like me, but...

When first, by a curse, I landed in this pond,
I knew it would take a kiss, for me to get beyond,
And not just any kiss,
But from the most special miss.

As time drew on, I knew it would be long,
But deep down inside, I knew her love was strong.
The days went past, and months an’ years too,
And the lasses that came by… were more than just a few.

But try as I might, from a lilly pad’s height,
I looked an’ looked, but she was no where in sight.
The days turn to nights, and night into day,
But in my froggy heart… I knew life wouldn’t always be this way.

I can still remember when as a prince I learned to dance,
Long before the pond, and this circumstance,
And water is good, but not to excess,
All I really need… is a kiss… from my Princess.
