Hi! I heard from a colleague that this is a great site, so I guess I am ready to try it and see for myself -- please help me prove her correct. I am a medical professional and also moonlight in several ER's and have also worked in two different prisons -- I have probably seen it all!! I do some teaching on occasion as well as some public speaking.

I am looking for someone who has decided it is REALLY time to be a grown-up; someone with a career, not just a job; someone who realizes the importance of maintaining social connection with the outside world, including family and friends, but who also cherishes private time together. Someone who believes in loyalty/fidelity, honesty, and INTIMACY (both emotionally and especially, ESPECIALLY physically!!) is an absolute must. You must have the desire & energy to keep up with this COUGAR!! (For those of you that are woefully misinformed...a Cougar has an unapologetically healthy 'appetite' but is NOT a slut. Cougar is NOT synonymous with "booty call" - I can get that anywhere; if that is what you are looking for....keep looking!!) So needless to say, physical fitness is quite preferred! I would love to be with someone who is equally comfortable in a suit/tux for a formal event, casual attire for weekend getaways, sweats for some physical exercise, or dare I say loungewear for you & lingerie for me for a relaxing weekend. I can be equally happy with a whirlwind of events or sitting side by side on the couch in front of a fire reading a book -- just being together.

I have 2 children and will not be having more of my own, but I realize that at this age, many of you may have children of your own too, and that is fine. A very important point to consider is that I am not looking for a father for my children as a lot of women are; mine already have a father -- we have just decided it is best for us not to be married anymore. I AM, however, looking for a partner for myself. Of course, my children are part of who I am, but my relationship with the right guy needs to develop first, then my kids become part of the equation.

I am a VERY extroverted individual with quite varied interests and am open to learning/experiencing many more; in fact, I have been taking belly-dancing classes for over 2 years!! I am a "modern, independent woman", but I also LOVE being pampered and expect to be adored by my long term partner (who doesn't??). And trust me...you will end up very spoiled as well. I am 5'7" and my weight is QUITE proportional (size 6 on average) - I try to eat right and exercise daily so that it stays that way. My trainer is a great motivator and huge help with this. I have BIG, round, hazel/brownish eyes and am a curly-headed brunette. You MUST NOT be a smoker or drugger!!! Social drinking is fine, as long as it stays that way.

And for those of you that live somewhere west of the IL/IN state line, please don't let the Munster location dissuade you...I live very close to the state line/expressway and am likely much closer than you think!

I would love to spend time getting to know someone; you can't really do that over the din of a bar or just sitting side by side at a movie or concert -- although those things are great to do once the relationship has progressed!! Maybe a walk thru a park so we can get some fresh air, exercise, and really talk; just meeting for coffee to see if there is a connection; or perhaps you have an equally enjoyable suggestion -- try me and see!!
