If all you ever do is all you’ve ever done, then all you’ll ever get is all you ever got.

Take the road less traveled right? The ones with overgrowth going over that very interesting hill attract me the most - hopefully you too. I'm a Chicago native but my path has taken me to the deep south and both coasts.

Being active is important. I like to swim. I've taken private swim lessons so that I can "survive" a triathlon in 2010. I love to sail both on the lake and as part of a vacation - somewhere a bit more tropical. This year I took an intro to Yoga course and continued my classes to improve my tennis and fight off working at a desk all day. I enjoy tennis (fun but also take lessons), biking and racquetball.

Love art and studied photography in grad school. I hope you like to go to art openings! Astronomy, history, and different cultures are also interests. Music: Alt rock, bop jazz and blues are on my IPod and in my car. I've taken music lessons most of my life though I have to admit I'm a hack. I still love learning! I hope you do too.

What qualities do I value in a partner? You're happy with your life. You're active / keep healthy and have a high level of curiosity and energy about doing new things.

I think the first meeting should be fun and about getting to know the other person. Coffee. Brunch. If we're having a good time then we'll want to continue it again very soon. :)
